Psychotherapy and Counselling £45

Hypnotherapy £45

Psychotherapy is a confidential, evidence-based talking therapy that provides a safe and supportive space to explore thoughts, emotions, behaviours and life experiences. It can help people who are struggling with anxiety, low mood, trauma, relationship difficulties, overwhelming emotions or a sense of feeling “stuck,” by developing greater self-understanding, emotional regulation and healthier coping strategies. Over time, psychotherapy can strengthen resilience, improve relationships and support lasting psychological wellbeing. Sessions typically take place weekly and involve collaborative exploration at a pace that feels safe and manageable, with clear boundaries and agreed goals. Remote appointments are available nation-wide for £40 via telephone and Microsoft Teams.

Hypnotherapy is a therapeutic approach that uses guided relaxation and focused attention to help access deeper levels of awareness and responsiveness. In this calm and absorbed state, people may be better able to explore underlying patterns, shift unhelpful beliefs, and strengthen positive coping strategies. Hypnotherapy can support those experiencing anxiety, stress, phobias, low confidence, habits, or emotional blocks by working with both conscious and subconscious processes. Sessions typically involve an initial discussion of goals, followed by gentle guided techniques tailored to the individual, with clients remaining in control throughout and able to end the process at any time.

Canine Assisted Therapy £45

Interactive Therapy via Gaming £65

Therapy with a therapy dog in attendance integrates the calming presence of a trained dog into the therapeutic space to enhance safety, connection and emotional regulation. The dog is not the therapist, but their presence can help reduce anxiety, lower stress responses and support clients who may find direct conversation difficult. For some individuals — particularly children, trauma survivors or those experiencing social anxiety — interacting with a therapy dog can increase feelings of trust, grounding and comfort, making it easier to engage in meaningful therapeutic work. Sessions remain structured and goal-focused, with the dog’s involvement always guided by client preference, clear boundaries and professional standards of animal welfare and safety.

Gaming therapy is a therapeutic approach that uses video games and interactive play as a structured way to build connection, emotional insight and psychological skills. By working within a shared gaming environment, clients can safely explore themes such as problem-solving, frustration tolerance, communication, identity and resilience in a way that feels engaging and less intimidating than traditional talk-based approaches. It can be particularly helpful for children, adolescents and neurodivergent individuals who may find it easier to express themselves through play. Sessions typically combine gameplay with reflective conversation, with clear therapeutic goals, agreed boundaries and ongoing review to ensure the work remains purposeful and supportive.
