For Parents
Seeking support for your child can feel overwhelming. You may be noticing big emotions, anxiety, changes in behaviour, school struggles, or a sense that your child is finding things harder than others their age. You are not alone — and support is available.

I offer a safe, relational and developmentally attuned space where children and young people can begin to understand their feelings, build emotional regulation skills, and feel more secure within themselves and their relationships.
My approach is trauma-informed, neuro-affirming and centred around emotional safety. I work at your child’s pace, recognising that behaviour is communication and that regulation develops through connection.

How Therapy Can Help
Therapy may support children and young people who are experiencing:
-
Heightened anxiety or school-based distress
-
Emotional dysregulation or frequent meltdowns
-
Difficulties with friendships
-
Low self-esteem
-
Trauma or adverse experiences
-
Avoidance of school (including EBSA)
-
Challenges linked to autism or ADHD

Sessions are tailored to your child’s developmental stage and individual needs. Alongside direct work with your child, I also offer parent consultations to support you in feeling confident and informed.

Education, EHCPs & Funding
If your child has an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) — or you are considering applying for one — therapeutic provision may be able to form part of their support package.

You can download my Guide to EHCPs here:

This guide outlines:

What an EHCP is

How to request an assessment

What evidence is needed

If you are seeking funding for therapy (through an EHCP, school funding, Local Authority support or other routes),
evidential documents to support funding applications are available on request.
This may include professional summaries, needs-based rationale for provision, and recommended outcomes linked to educational access and emotional wellbeing.
