For Professionals

I welcome referrals from professionals who are seeking thoughtful, trauma-informed therapeutic support for young people and adults experiencing emotional distress, anxiety, behavioural challenges or relational difficulties.

I understand the importance of clear communication, timely responses and collaborative working. My approach is relational, neuro-affirming and developmentally informed, with a strong emphasis on emotional safety and co-regulation.

Who I Work With

I accept referrals for those who may be experiencing:

  • Emotional dysregulation

  • Heightened anxiety (including school-based anxiety)

  • Trauma or adverse experiences

  • Attachment and relational difficulties

  • Low self-esteem

  • Behavioural challenges linked to unmet emotional need

  • Neurodivergent presentations (including autism and ADHD)

  • This is not an extensive list but an example of most common referral reasons.

If you are unsure whether a referral would be appropriate, I am happy to discuss this prior to submission.

What You Can Expect

  • A prompt acknowledgement of referral

  • Initial screening to ensure suitability

  • Clear communication regarding availability and next steps

  • Collaborative liaison (with consent)

  • Outcome-focused and needs-led intervention

  • Written summaries or reports where agreed

Confidentiality is central to my practice, and information sharing will always be discussed with families and handled in line with safeguarding and data protection requirements.

I provide specialist, trauma-informed psychotherapy for children, young people and adults presenting with complex emotional, relational and neurodevelopmental needs. My work supports improved emotional regulation, relational functioning, psychological wellbeing and engagement in education, employment or daily living.

I can deliver provision specified within EHCPs and other funded support packages, particularly where needs relate to:

  • Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH)

  • Trauma and attachment-related presentations

  • Emotionally Based School Avoidance (EBSA)

  • Neurodivergent profiles requiring regulation-based support

Provision can be structured to meet statutory requirements and reviewed in line with agreed commissioning timelines.
